Thanks Tony, i know what you mean about the water, you have to be a Chemist virtially to understand it but you get my drift about water that you can use with out having to add a whole compound of things and then making sure it's always like that because if you don't and the Fish have got used to those conditions, they will suffer...and water that is not too bad to start with and the Fish are happy in it?!...All i am after is a couple of nice chequerboards and 3 Blue Turqs all around the 2-3 inch size, then i can quit all this moaning that i have been doing and get back to enjoying my Fish!

Ha ha, you say 8 or 10, well that's perfect because i have 3 left in my tank that i will be keeping so that makes 9 (somewhere in the middle!) They are no show winners by any stretch of the imagination and 2 are a bit stunted but they will be perfect to show the new Fish 'the ropes' while they get settled in. They are healthy and eating everything i put in for them so they will be ideal as role models!...I have just ordered a new tank from the wife for Christmas as well...It's not the biggest but it will make a good home as long as i keep my water changes up...It is an AQUA 650S Cube, 220 litres, so being a 25 and a half inch cube, the fish have a bit of room to go side to side and back to front...I know this isn't an ideal size but i'm not filling it full of plants, rocks etc, just a couple of roots along the bottom, i know they will be fine and healthy as long as the water stays the same and i keep up with their housework (i can always get rid of the original 3 if i need a bit more room once the others have settled in)...Once again, thanks for your help as always with the advice mate.
